AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 21 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO A LEVEL 1 LEARNER'S PERMIT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE :
Section 1. Amend §2710(e), Title 21 of the Delaware Code by adding the following paragraph to subsection (e):
"(6) It is unlawful for a sponsor to knowingly allow the holder of a Level 1 Learner's Permit to drive in violation of subsection (c)(2) of this section. A sponsor who violates this provision is guilty of an unclassified misdemeanor.".
Section 2. The effective date of Section 1 of this Act is 180 days after its enactment into law.
