AN ACT TO AMEND TITLES 16 AND 21 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO LITTER CONTROL AND RULES OF THE ROAD.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE
:
Section 1. Amend § 1605(a) of Title 16 of the Delaware Code by deleting the phrase “$25 nor more than $50 for each violation” and replacing thereto as follows:
“$50 and up to 8 hours of community service for a first offense and $75 and up to 25 hours of community service for a second offense within two (2) years”.
Section 2. Amend § 4189(g) of Title 21 of the Delaware Code by deleting the phrase "$115 nor more than $287.50" and replacing thereto as follows:
“$115 and up to 8 hours of community service for a first offense and not less than $125 nor more than $287.50 and up to 25 hours of community service for a second offense within two (2) years”
