Section 1. Amend Title 14, Chapter 2, § 203 of the Delaware Code by deleting the phrase “physically impaired,” as it appears in the second sentence therein and inserting the phrase “traumatic brain injured, orthopedically disabled, other health impaired,” in lieu thereof.
Section 2. Amend Title 14, Chapter 13, § 1321(e)(16) of the Delaware Code by striking the words “physically impaired” as they appear the first time in the first paragraph therein and inserting the words “other health impaired, orthopedically disabled, or traumatic brain injured” in lieu thereof.
Section 3. Further Amend Title 14, Chapter 13, § 1321(e)(16) of the Delaware Code by striking the phrase “physically impaired” where it appears in the second and fourth paragraphs therein and inserting the phrase “traumatic brain injured, other health impaired or orthopedically disabled” in lieu thereof.
Section 4. Amend Title 14, Chapter 13, § 1321(e)(16)a. of the Delaware Code by striking the phrase “physically impaired excluding those students who are orthopedically disabled, as defined in b. below” and inserting the words “other health impaired” in lieu thereof.
Section 5. Amend Title 14, Chapter 13, § 1324(a) of the Delaware Code by striking the phrase “the physically impaired,” and inserting the phrase “the traumatic brain injured, the orthopedically disabled, the other health impaired,” in lieu thereof.
Section 6. Amend Title 14, Chapter 17, § 1703(d) of the Delaware Code by deleting the words “physically impaired” as they appear in the first sentence therein and inserting the words “other health impaired” in lieu thereof.
Section 7. Amend Title 14, Chapter 17, § 1703(e) of the Delaware Code by striking the phrase “or traumatic brain injured” after the word “autistic” as it appears in the second sentence therein.
Section 8. Amend Title 14, Chapter 17, § 1716A(a) of the Delaware Code by striking the words “physically impaired” as they appear in the first sentence therein and inserting the words “traumatic brain injured, orthopedically disabled, other health impaired” in lieu thereof.
