SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1
AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 24 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE :
Section 1. Amend § 2536, Chapter 25, Title 24 of the Delaware Code by deleting the words “or dispense” in Subsection (c).
Section 2. Amend §2536 of Title 24 of the Delaware Code by adding the following at the end of Subsection (c):
‘Practitioners who dispense drugs directly to patients shall label all drugs or provide a document including the following information:
(1) The patient’s full name;
(2) The date the drugs were dispensed to the patient;
(3) The practitioner’s name;
(4) The practitioner’s directions.’”
