AMEND TITLE 24 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO NURSING AND THE PRONOUNCEMENT OF DEATH.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE :
Section 1. Amend §1902(b), Title 24 of the Delaware Code, by inserting in the last paragraph thereof, between the phrase "terminally ill patients" and the phrase "in the home" as they appear therein, the phrase "or patients who have 'do not resuscitate' orders".
Section 2. Amend §1902(b), Title 24 of the Delaware Code, by inserting in the last paragraph thereof, between the phrase "associated with a skilled nursing facility;" and the phrase "in an extended care facility;" as they appear therein, the phrase "any licensed assisted living community;".
