AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER I I, TITLE 12 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO ESCHEAT OF ABANDONED OR UNCLAIMED PROPERTY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section I. Amend § 1130, Title 12 of the Delaware Code by inserting between the words "bank" and "created" as they appear in said section the phrase or credit union".
Section 2. Amend § 1198(6), Title 12 of the Delaware -Code by striking the phrase "a credit union," as it appears in the first sentence of said subsection.
Section 3. Amend § I I99(a), Title 12 of the Delaware Code by striking the words and punctuation ", in duplicate," as they appear in the first sentence.
Section 4. Amend § 1 42(c)(5), Title 12 of the Delaware Code by striking subparagraph "c" of said paragraph in its entirety.
Section 5. If any provision of this Act or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the Act which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application. and to that end the provisions of this Act are declared severable.
