AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 60, TITLE 7 OF THE DELAWARE CODE REQUIRING ENVIRONMENTAL PERMITS PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF BUILDING PERMITS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. Amend §6003, Chapter 60, Title 7 of the Delaware Code by adding a new subsection (f) to read as follows:
"(f) No county, municipality or other governmental entity shall issue any building, placement, storage or occupancy permit or license until the property owner has obtained from the Department any necessary permits for underground discharge of wastewater and withdrawal of groundwater."
