AS AMENDED BY SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1
AN ACT TO AMEND VOLUME 63, CHAPTER 272, LAWS OF DELAWARE, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF CAMDEN.
WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable that the Charter of the Town of Camden, contained in Chapter 272, Volume 63, Laws of Delaware, as amended, be In certain respects further amended and revised.
NOW, THEREFORE'
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE (two-thirds of all members elected to each House thereof concurring therein):
Section I. Amend subsection (a). Section 7, Chapter 272, Volume 63, Laws of Delaware,
as amended, by striking said subsection In Its entirety and substituting In lieu thereof the following.
"Section 7. The procedure for holding the annual municipal election shall be as
follows
(a) The Annual Municipal Election shall be held at a place designated by the
Town Council within the corporate limits of the Town of Camden on the last Saturday In February of each and every year from twelve o'clock In the afternoon, prevailing time, until eight o'clock in the evening, prevailing time, the first said Annual Municipal Election to be held pursuant to this Charter to be held on the last Saturday in February. A.D. 1989."
Section 2 Amend subsection (b). Section 7, Chapter 272, Volume 63, Laws of Delaware by
striking the year "1983" and substituting in ileu thereof the year "1989".
