AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 5, TITLE 17, DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE MAXIMUM MONETARY AMOUNT PERMITTED IN THE JUSTICE OF THE PEACE COURT AND THE COURT OF COMMON PLEAS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE.
Section 1. Amend Section 511(c), Chapter 5, Title 17 of the Delaware Code by deleting
the stated amount of "$500.00" as It appears therein and substituting In lieu thereof the amount of "$2,500.00" and by deleting the stated amount of "$1,000.00" as It appears therein and substituting In lieu thereof the amount of "$15,000.00".
