AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 9 OF THE DELAWARE CODE, RELATING TO THE COMPUTATION OF PENALTY ON DELINQUENT SEWER SERVICE: CHARGES LEVIED BY NEW CASTLE COUNTY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. Amend Section 2210(a), Chapter 22, Title 9 of the Delaware Code by deleting the existing Subsection in its entirety and adding in lieu thereof the following:
In the event that a service charge with regard to any parcel of real property Is not paid as and when due, interest shall accrue and be due to the County on the unpaid balance at a rate to be set by County government, not to exceed one and one half percent (1.5%) per month."
