AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 25, TITLE 12 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE REGISTER OF WILLS; AND PERMITTING THE KENT COUNTY LEVY COURT TO SET THE FEES FOR THE REGISTER OF WILLS IN KENT COUNTY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. Amend §2510, Chapter 25, Title 12 of the Delaware Code by striking said section in its entirety, and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
"§2510. Fees
The governing body of each county shall determine the fees which shall be charged by the Register of Wills of that county."
Section 2. The provisions of this Act shall become effective when the Kent County Levy Court lawfully adopts an ordinance establishing the fees to be charged by the Register of Wills in Kent County.
