AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 35, TITLE 11 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE USE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE CERTIFICATE OF TITLE AS EVIDENCE IN A CRIMINAL PROCEEDING.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. Amend Chapter 35, Title 11 of the Delaware Code, by adding a new Section 3510 which shall read as follows:
"§3510. Motor vehicles; certificate of title; admissibility
In any criminal proceeding in which ownership, possession, or use of a motor vehicle Is an issue, a certified copy of the certificate of title on file with the Division of Motor Vehicles shall be admissible as proof of ownership of the motor vehicle."
