AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 170, VOLUME 57, LAWS OF DELAWARE, BEING THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF LEWES, RELATING TO THE CITY OF LEWES TO CHARGE THE OWNER FOR ELECTRIC CURRENT FURNISHED TO THE OWNER'S RENTAL UNITS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE (Two-thirds of all members elected to each House thereof concurring therein):
Section 1. Amend Subsection 14, Section 29, Chapter 170, Volume 57. Laws of Delaware, as amended, by inserting at the end of said subsection 14 the following:
"In providing charges for sale of electric current to a rental unit, the City may require the owner of said rental unit to be responsible for and to pay for the electric current furnished to such rental unit."
