AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 11, TITLE 5 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE TAXATION ON NET EARNINGS OF BANKS, TRUST COMPANIES AND NATIONAL BANKS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. Amend Section 1101, (a)(1), Chapter 11, Title 5 of the Delaware Code by striking the word "and" as it appears in the first line and inserting a comma "," in place thereof and by inserting the words "and volunteer fire companies" between the words "its political subdivisions" and ", as well as any dividends".
Section 2. Amend Section 1101 (b)(1), Chapter 11, Title 5 of the Delaware Code by adding a new subsection designated as (b)(1)(i) to read as follows:
"f. The interest income from obligations of volunteer fire companies."
