AN ACT TO AMEND SUBCHAPTER III, TITLE 10 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE CIVIL JURISDICTION OF THE COURT OF COMMON PLEAS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE (Two-thirds of all members elected to each House thereof concurring therein):
Section 1. Amend §1314, Chapter 13, Title 10, Delaware Code by striking said section in its entirety and substituting in lieu thereof the followings
"§1314. Civil Jurisdiction: Amount in Controversy
(a)The Court shall have jurisdiction over ell civil actions at law where the matter or thing in controversy, exclusive of interest, does not exceed 815,000.
(b) The Court shall have unlimited jurisdiction over counterclaims, cross-claims and third party claims as defined and provided by rule of Court, and any judgement rendered on any such counterclaim, cross-claim, or third party claim which exceeds the sum of 815,000 shall be valid in all respects."
