AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 121, VOLUME 32, LAWS OF DELAWARE, AS AMENDED BY CHAPTER 181, VOLUME 36, LAWS OF DELAWARE, ENTITLED "AN ACT TO ESTABLISH A BOARD OF WATER AND LIGHT COMMISSIONERS FOR THE CITY OF NEW CASTLE", RELATING TO THE SALARIES OF THE COMMISSIONERS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE (Two-thirds of all members elected to each House thereof concurring therein):
Section I. Amend Chapter 181, Volume 36, Laws of Delaware, by striking Section I, thereof in its entirety and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
"Section 1. Amend Chapter 121, Volume 32, Laws of Delaware by adding thereto a new section 11, to read as follows:
'Section 11. Commencing April I, 1980, the President of the Board shall receive an annual salary of One Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($1,100.00) and each member of the Board an annual salary of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) for their services, payable quarterly out of the funds of the Board, and in addition to their necessary expenses in the performance of their duties. The provisions of Section 2 of said Act are changed to the extent provided by this Section."'
