AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 23 AND CHAPTER 51, TITLE 29, DELAWARE CODE, TO PROVIDE THAT NO CHARGE SHALL BE MADE FOR PROVIDING CERTIFICATES OF APPOINTMENT TO VOLUNTEERS NAMED TO ADVISORY COUNCILS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:

Section 1. §2315, Chapter 23, Title 29, Delaware Code, is amended by adding the following sentence after the listing of fees to be charged by the Secretary of State:

Any volunteer accepting appointment by the Governor to an advisory council shall be exempt from payment of the fee for such certificate."

Section.2. §5101, Chapter 51, Title 29, Delaware Code, is amended by adding the following sentence:

"No fee shall be required by the recorder of any person appointed by the Governor to serve as a volunteer member of an advisory council."
