SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1
AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 51, TITLE 9, DELAWARE CODE, AS THE SAME SHALL RELATE TO THE BORROWING POWER OF THE GOVERNMENT OF SUSSEX COUNTY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. Section 6102, Chapter 61, Title 9 of the Delaware Code is hereby amended by adding thereto a new subsection (c) to read as follows:
"(c) The government of Sussex County, may from time to time, borrow money in such amounts as it may find necessary from federal and state grant funds, provided, that the same shall not be subject to the limitations set forth in Subsection (a) hereof, and that the same shall be repaid as set forth in Subsection (b) hereof, and that the same shall be permitted by the granting authority."
