AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 9, TITLE 10, DELAWARE CODE, TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF FAMILY COURT JUDGES TO 12.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. 1906, Chapter 9, Title 10, Delaware Code, is amended by striking the number "11" in subsection (b) and inserting in lieu thereof the number "12".
Section 2. 5906, Chapter 9, Title 10, Delaware Code, is amended by striking the second sentence of subsection (b) and inserting in lieu thereof the following second sentence:
"There shall be an equal number of judges from each of the major political parties."
