AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 92, TITLE 10, DELAWARE CODE, RELATING TO SALARIES OF JUSTICES OF THE PEACE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Delaware:
Section 1. Amend §9209, Chapter 92, Title 10, Delaware Code, by striking said section in its entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following:
"§9209. Salaries of justices; prohibited activities and employments
(a) Each Justice shall receive as annual compensation for his services the sum of $13,000.
(b) The Justices shall not receive any other fees or emoluments for discharging the duties of their offices, except as may otherwise be provided by law or by the Rules, or engage in any occupation concerned with or growing out of the collection of any judgement rendered by a justice, or engage in the private practice of law, or hold any State office, or be employed by the State in other capacity."
Section 2. This Act shall be effective on July 1, 1975
