AN ACT DIRECTING THE KENT COUNTY LEVY COURT TO CEASE ANY AND ALL ACTIVITY REGARDING THE CONSTRUCTION OF A KENT COUNTY AIRPORT; AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE KENT COUNTY LEVY COURT TO PROCEED TO HAVE PLACED ON THE NOVEMBER, 1976, BALLOT THE QUESTION OF WHETHER THE CITIZENS OF KENT COUNTY, DELAWARE, DESIRE THE CONSTRUCTION OF A KENT COUNTY AIRPORT.
Section 1. The Kent County Levy Court is hereby directed to cease any and all activity regarding any agreement to enter into a contractual agreement with Dover Air Force Base for the purpose of establishing or constructing a joint-use airport for Kent County, Delaware, until such time as the provisions of Section 2 of this Act have been met.
Section 2. The Kent County Levy Court is hereby authorized and directed to proceed to have placed on the November, 1976, ballot the question of whether the citizens of Kent County, Delaware, are in favor of constucting or establishing a county airport. The Kent County Levy Court shall accept the determination made by the general electorate of Kent County at the November, 1976, election.
