AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 19, PART I, TITLE 10 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE POWERS AND DUTIES OF COURTS AND JUDGES; AND PROVIDING FOR OCCASIONAL MESSAGES TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY ON THE STATE OF THE JUDICIARY.
Section 1. Amend Subchapter I, Chapter 19, Part I, Title 10 of the Delaware Code by re-designating the sections in said subchapter as follows: Re-designate present § 1901 as new §1902; redesignate present §1902 as new §1903; redesignate present § 1903 as new § 1904; re-designate present §1904 as new §1905; re-designate present §1905 as new §1906; redesignate §1906 as new §1907; and re-designate present §1907 as new §1908.
Section 2. Amend Subchapter I, Chapter 19, Part I, Title 10, of the Delaware Code by adding thereto a new section, designated as § 1901, which shall read as follows:
"§1901. State of the Judiciary Message
The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court shall, from time to time, give to the General Assembly information of affairs concerning the state of the Judiciary, and recommend to its consideration such measures as he shall deem expedient."
