FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 599
AN ACT TO PERMIT THE BOARD OF PUBLIC EDUCATION OF THE MOUNT PLEASANT REORGANIZED SCHOOL DISTRICT TO TRANSFER CERTAIN FUNDS FROM ITS LOCAL DEBT SERVICE FUNDS ACCOUNT TO A SPECIAL LOCAL CURRENT OPERATING FUNDS ACCOUNT.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Delaware (three fourths of all members elected to each House thereof concurring therein):
Section 1. The Board of Public Education of the Mount Pleasant Reorganized School District is authorized to transfer the sum of seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000.00) from its Local Debt Service Funds Account to a Special Local Current Operating Funds Account. The sums transferred shall be used to help defray the cost of rebuilding and equipping the auditorium which has been damaged by fire.
Section 2. Any funds transferred by this Act and not expended for rebuilding and re-equipping the auditorium shall be redeposited in the Debt Service Account.
