AN ACT MAKING A SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION TO THE BETHANY BEACH VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF AERIAL OR PLATFORM TRUCKS.
WHEREAS, Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company maintains an 85 foot aerial truck; and
WHEREAS, Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company purchased the aerial truck in June of 1974; and
WHEREAS, Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company was inadvertently omitted from House Bill No. 598, the annual grant in aid bill; and
WHEREAS, Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company is entitled to a grant in aid in the amount of $2,000 for the maintenance of an 85 foot aerial truck.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Delaware (three-fourths of all the members elected to each House thereof concurring therein):
Section 1. The sum of $2,000 is hereby appropriated to the Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company for the purpose of maintaining their 85 foot aerial truck.
Section 2. This is a supplementary appropriation and the funds hereby appropriated shall be paid by the State Treasurer out of funds in the General Fund of the State of Delaware not otherwise appropriated.
Section 3. The funds herein appropriated remaining unexpended on June 30, 1976, shall revert to the General Fund of the State of Delaware.
