AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 36 OF TITLE 24, DELAWARE CODE, BY PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN REGISTRATION EXEMPTIONS OF GEOLOGISTS.
WHEREAS, the function of geologists employed by the State is regulatory by nature and dose not involve the offering of geology services to the public; and
WHEREAS, the State would be severely handicapped in the employment of geologists for water resources management purposes if its employees were required to be registered geologists; and
WHEREAS, a bill to exempt State employees from the requirements of registration as professional geologists is necessary.
NOW, THEREFORE:
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Delaware:
Section 1. Amend §3602, Chapter 36, Title 24 of the Delaware Code by adding thereto a new subparagraph (5) to read as follows:
"(5) Persons employed by any agency or authority of Section 1. Amend §3602, Chapter 36, Title 24 of the Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Delaware."
