AS AMENDED BY HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1
AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 18, DELAWARE CODE, PROVIDING FOR HEALTH INSURANCE, GROUP HEALTH INSURANCE, BLANKET HEALTH INSURANCE, AND HEALTH SERVICE CORPORATIONS TO BE SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 25, TITLE 18, DELAWARE CODE, REGARDING RATES AND RATING ORGANIZATIONS.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Delaware:
Section 1. §2502(a), Chapter 25, Title 18, Delaware Code is hereby amended by adding a new subsection (4) thereto to read as follows:
"(4) Health Insurance, Group Health Insurance, Blanket Health Insurance and Health Service Corporations."
Section 2. §2502(b), Chapter 25, Title 18, Delaware Code, is amended by striking subsection (2) thereof in its entirety.
Section 3. §3333, Chapter 33, Title 18, Delaware Code, is hereby amended by adding a new sentence thereto to read as follows:
"The filing of rates shall be made pursuant to and under the requirements of Chapter 25 of this Title."
The rates for group health insurance and blanket health insurance shall be filed pursuant to and be subject to the requirements of Chapter 25 of this Title."
Section 5. §6309, Chapter 63, Title 18, Delaware Code, is amended by redesignating subsection (4) as subsection (5).
Section 6. §6309, Chapter 63, Title 18, Delaware Code, is amended by adding a new subsection (4) to read as follows:
"(4) Chapter 25, (rates and rating organizations)." Approved May 6, 1976
