Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Delaware:
Section I. There is hereby appropriated the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars to the Department of Highways and Transportation for the purpose of correcting the drainage problem created during the construction of State Highway Route No. 14, and to overcome frequent flooding due to the tidewater backup. Upon completion of the project contemplated by this Act, the Town of Bethany Beach will operate, maintain, and supply power for the drainage installation which may be constructed to correct the aforementioned drainage problem.
Section 2. This Act shall be known as a supplementary appropriation act, and the funds hereby appropriated shall be paid from the General Fund of the State Treasury not otherwise appropriated. Any funds appropriated by this Act remaining unexpended shall revert to the General Fund of the State Treasury on June 30, 1972.
