PROCLAMATION
STATE OF DELAWARE

GOVERNOR OF SAID STATE
To all Persons to whom these Presents shall come, Greeting:
WHEREAS, An election was held in the State of Delaware, on Tuesday, the 7th day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and Seventy-two, that being the Tuesday next after the first Monday in said month, in pursuance of the Constitution and Laws of the State of Delaware, in that behalf, for the election of a State Auditor OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE.
AND WHEREAS, The official certificates or returns, of the said election, held in the several counties of the said State, having been duly received and examined by the Governor, it appears from them that the votes in said county respectively for such State Auditor were cast as follows, to wit:

AND WHEREAS, The said returns of the election as aforesaid, duly made out, signed and executed, having been duly delivered to the Governor by the Superior Court of said counties, and the Governor having examined said returns as aforesaid, and enumerated and ascertained the number of votes for each and every candidate or person voted for, such State Auditor the result appears as follows, to wit:

NOW, THEREFORE, I, RUSSELL W. PETERSON, Governor of the State of Delaware, do hereby declare that F. Earl McGinnes, Jr. has received the highest vote at the election aforesaid, and therefore has been and is duly and legally elected the State Auditor of and for the State of Delaware.
