CHAPTER 50 - APPROPRIATION - REHOBOTH BEACH HURRICANE DAMAGE REPAIR
AN ACT APPROPRIATING MONEY TO THE COMMISSIONERS OF REHOBOTH TOWARDS EXPENSE OF REPAIRING AND REPLACING PUBLIC PROPERTY DAMAGED BY HURRICANE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met (two-thirds of all the members elected to each House concurring therein):
Section 1. That the sum of Eleven Thousand Three Hundred Seventy Dollars Seventy-six Cents ($11,370.76) be, and the same hereby is, appropriated to The Commissioners of Rehoboth, a municipal corporation of the State of Delaware and the municipal governing body of the City of Rehoboth Beach, to be by it applied to the cost and expense of replacing and restoring public property and estate damaged or destroyed by the force and effect of the hurricane, and accompanying high tides, which swept the Atlantic seaboard during the month of September in the year 1944; said sum hereinbefore mentioned representing one-half of the total cost and expense paid out or incurred by the said The Commissioners of Rehoboth towards that end.
Section 2. That this Act shall be known as a Supplementary Appropriation Act and the funds hereby appropriated shall be paid out of the General Funds of the State Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
