CHAPTER 122 - LEVY COURT--KENT AND SUSSEX COUNTIES SALARIES OF COMMISSIONERS
AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 43 OF THE REVISED CODE OF DELAWARE, 1935, ENTITLED "LEVY COURTS" IN RELATION TO THE SALARIES OF THE LEVY COURT COMMISSIONERS OF KENT AND SUSSEX COUNTIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:
Section 1. That Chapter 43 of the Revised Code of Delaware, 1935, be and the same is hereby amended by striking out all of 1189. Sec. 43. thereof and inserting in lieu thereof a new 1189. Sec. 43., as follows:
1189. Sec. 43. Salaries, How Paid; Not to Receive Other Compensation:--The Levy Court Commissioners elected under the provisions of this Article, shall be paid an annual salary of Two Thousand and Two Hundred Dollars in equal monthly installments, by warrants according to .the form to be prescribed by the Levy Court, and the said Commissioners shall not be entitled to have or receive any other or further compensation for any services done or performed by them, or any of them, in the said office of Levy Court Commissioner.
Section 2. That Chapter 43 of the Revised Code of Delaware, 1935, be and the same is hereby amended by striking out all of 1199. Sec. 53. thereof and inserting in lieu thereof a new 1199. Sec. 53., as follows:
1199. Sec. 53. Salaries, How Paid; No Further Compensation:--The Levy Court Commissioners of Sussex County, elected under the provisions of this Article, shall be paid an annual salary of Two Thousand and Two Hundred Dollars, in equal monthly installments, by warrants according to the form to be prescribed by the Levy Court, and said Levy Court Commissioners shall not be entitled to have or receive from said County any other or further compensation for any services done and performed by them, or any of them, in the said office of Levy Court Commissioner.
