CHAPTER 129 - COUNTY TREASURERS AND COLLECTION OF TAXES - NEW CASTLE COUNTY SALARIES
AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 45 OF THE REVISED CODE OF DELAWARE, 1935, AS AMENDED, BY CHAPTER 92, VOLUME 44, LAWS OF DELAWARE, ENTITLED "COUNTY TREASURER AND COLLECTION OF TAXES", IN RELATION TO THE SALARIES OF THE DEPUTIES, CLERKS, DELINQUENT TAX INVESTIGATORS, BOOKKEEPERS AND STENOGRAPHER OF THE RECEIVER OF TAXES AND COUNTY TREASURER FOR NEW CASTLE COUNTY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:
Section 1. That Chapter 45, Revised Code of Delaware, 1935, as amended, by Chapter 92, Volume 44, Laws of Delaware, be and the same is hereby further amended by striking out and repealing all of the second paragraph of 1372. Section 32. thereof and inserting in lieu thereof a new second paragraph as follows:
The Chief Deputy and other deputies shall each be paid an annual salary of Twenty-Four Hundred Dollars; the clerks shall each be paid an annual salary of Two Thousand Dollars; the delinquent tax investigators shall each receive an annual salary of Two Thousand Dollars; the bookkeepers shall each receive an annual salary of Eighteen Hundred Dollars; and the stenographer shall receive an annual salary of Eighteen Hundred Dollars.
Section 2. This Act shall become effective on the first day of the month following its approval.
