CHAPTER 324 - SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
DESIGNATING THE NUMBER BY WHICH THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF 1947 SHALL BE KNOWN.
WHEREAS it has been ascertained by the Public Archives Commission that the biennial session of the General Assembly of the State of Delaware due to convene, by Constitutional provision, on the first Tuesday of January, A. D. 1947, will be the one hundred and fourteenth regular legislative session held following the adoption of the State's first Constitution in 1776; and
WHEREAS it is desirable that the sessions of the General Assembly be correctly designated by number;
NOW THEREFORE be it resolved by the Senate of the State of Delaware the House of Representatives concurring therein:
That the regular Session of the Delaware General Assembly to be convened in the month of January, one thousand nine hundred and forty seven (1947) shall be known as the 114th Session of such Assembly, and reference thereto by Resolutions or enactments of the 1945 Session by any other number shall be considered to be a reference to the 114th Session of the General Assembly of the State of Delaware.
