CHAPTER 291 - STATE OF DELAWARE EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT PROCLAMATION
C. D. BUCK, Governor of said State
TO ALL PERSONS TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME, GREETINGS:
WHEREAS, Thomas B. Rash, a citizen of Kent County, residing near Camden, State of Delaware, was slain by a person or persons unknown, on or about June 3, 1935; and
WHEREAS, there are reasonable grounds for the belief that the laws of this State have been violated and it is necessary for the purpose of securing the arrest of the person or persons offending, that a reward be offered for the arrest and conviction of such person or persons;
Now, Therefore, I, C. D. Buck, Governor Of The State Of Delaware, In Accordance With The Provisions Of Section 6, Of Chapter 13, Of The Revised Code Of The State Of Delaware, Do Hereby Offer A Reward Of Five Hundred Dollars For The Arrest And Conviction Of The Person Or Persons Who Committed The Crime Aforesaid, Said Reward To Be Paid To Such Person Or Persons As The Attorney General Of This State Shall Certify To Be Entitled Thereto.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, C. D. Buck, Governor of the State of Delaware, have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of this State to be hereunto affixed this tenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five and of the Independence of the United States of America the one hundred and sixtieth.
