CHAPTER 36

DELAWARE NATIONAL GUARD AWARDING OF MEDALS

AN ACT to amend an Act entitled "An Act to Provide for the Awarding of Medals to the Officers and Enlisted Men of the Delaware National Guard for Distinguished Service" same being Chapter 35, Volume 35, Laws of Delaware.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met: Section 1. That Section 1 of Chapter 35, Volume 35, Laws of Delaware be and the same is hereby amended by inserting the word "have" between the word "shall" and the word "distinguished" appearing in the sixth line of said Section 1.

Section 2. That Section 1 of Chapter 35, Volume 35, Laws of Delaware be and the same is hereby further amended by adding a new paragraph at the end of said Section 1 to read as follows: "Only one medal shall be awarded to any one person. Only one For each service subsequent to the above, a gold star three-sixteenths of an inch in diameter, shall be given to the one who has earned the medal, which said star shall be affixed to the ribbon of said medal".

Section 3. That Section 2 of Chapter 35, Volume 35, ve.v20.1 Chap. Laws of Delaware be and the same is hereby amended by adding at the end of said Section 2 a new paragraph to be amended numbered "5" which new paragraph shall read as follows:

"5. Only one medal shall be awarded to any one person. For each service subsequent to the above, a bronze one person star three-sixteenths of an inch in diameter, shall be given to the one who has earned the medal, which said star shall be affixed to the ribbon of said medal".

Section 4. All Acts or parts of Acts inconsistent here-with are hereby repealed in so far as the inconsistency may occur only.
