INTOXICATING LIQUOR

AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 30 OF "THE LIQUOR CONTROL ACT’ BEING CHAPTER 18 OF VOLUME 38, LAWS OF DELAWARE, RELATING TO LICENSE FEES FOR OPERATING DISTILLERIES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:

Section 1. That Section 30 of "The Liquor Control Act" be and the same is hereby amended by striking out both paragraphs of (b) of 10 of (B) thereof, relating to License Fees for operating distilleries, and substituting therefore the following, to be known as (b) of (B) of Section 30:

(b) For a license to operate a "distillery" for distillation or rectification, the licensee shall, based upon annual production, pay a sum to be computed upon the following schedule:

For the first 500 gallons, the sum of Fifty Dollars,

For the next 5,000 gallons, or fraction thereof, at the rate of four cents per gallon,

For the next 10,000 gallons or fraction thereof, at the rate of three cents per gallon,

For the next 50,000 gallons or fraction thereof, at the rate of two cents per gallon,

For the next 100,000 gallons or fraction thereof, at the rate of one cent per gallon,

For every 100,000 gallons in excess of the amounts set forth or fraction thereof, at the rate of one-half cent per gallon.
