CHAPTER 443.

OF CONVEYANCES.

AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 83, OF THE REVISED CODE OF 1893, ENTITLED "OF CONVEYANCES", CONCERNING THE ACKNOWLEDGMENTS OF DEEDS BY MARRIED WOMEN.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:

Section 1. That Section 4 of Chapter 83, of the Revised Code of 1893, entitled, "Of Conveyances," be and the same is hereby amended by striking out in the second line of said section and chapter the following words "to which her husband is also a party."

Section 2. That Section 4 of Chapter 83, of the Revised Code of 1893, be and the same is hereby further amended by inserting in the eleventh line of said section and chapter between the word "her" and the word "such" the following words "Nor shall such conveyances by her divest, abrogate or in any manner interfere with the husband's estate by the courtesy should such estate attach."
