CHAPTER 80

Of the Adjutant General.

AN ACT PROVIDING A CLERIC FOR THE OFFICE OF ADJUTANT GENERAL OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:

Section 1. That upon the approval of this Act the Adjutant General of the State of Delaware shall have power and authority to appoint a clerk, the term of whose office and the duties by him to be performed to be determined and fixed from time to time by general or special appointment, regulations and orders made by the Adjutant General.

Section 2. The salary of said clerk shall be Six Hundred Dollars per annum, payable in equal monthly installments by the State Treasurer upon orders to him signed by the Adjutant General.

Section 3. It shall be the duty of the Adjutant General, upon making the appointment of any clerk, hereinbefore provided for, and upon making any change therein, to immediately certify the same to the State Treasurer.

Section 4. That all Acts or parts of Acts inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
