AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 9, TITLE 10 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE CRIMINAL JURISDICTION OF THE FAMILY COURT OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE (Two-thirds of all members elected to each House thereof concurring therein):
Section 1. Amend §922, Subchapter II., Chapter 9, Title 10 of the Delaware Code by
striking the word The appearing before the phrase "Court shall have exclusive original jurisdiction" in said Section, and inserting in lieu thereof the following:
"(a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, the".
Section 2. Amend §922, Subchapter II., Chapter 9, Title 10 of the Delaware Code by
creating a new subsection (b) of said Section, to read as follows:
"(b) The Court shall have concurrent criminal jurisdiction with the Municipal Court of the City of Wilmington in all proceedings concerning alleged curfew violations, under 2 Nils. C_L Sections 39-14 through 39-16."
