AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 16, TITLE 17, AND CHAPTER 79, TITLE 3, DELAWARE CODE, RELATING TO THE DELAWARE SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS, TO KENT COUNTY SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS, TO ENFORCEMENT OF LAWS RELATING TO CRUELTY TO ANIMALS AND TO CERTAIN PURCHASES MADE FROM THE STATE OF DELAWARE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Delaware:
Section 1. Amend Subsection 1605 (b) of Chapter 16, Title 17, Delaware Code, by striking the phrase "and the Delaware Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals" where the same appears therein and inserting in lieu thereof the following:, "the Kent County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and the Delaware Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals".
Section 2. Amend §7904, Chapter 79, Title 3, of the Delaware Code by striking the phrase "The Delaware Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, its members, or agents" and substituting in lieu thereof the following: "The Kent County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals or the Delaware Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, their members, or agents".
Section 3. Amend §7905, Chapter 79, Title 3, Delaware Code, by inserting the phrase "the Kent County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and" after the word "by" as the same appears therein.
Delaware Code, by striking the phrase "it was" as the same appears therein and substituting in lieu thereof the phrase "they were".
Section 5. Amend §7906, Chapter 79, Title 3, Delaware Code, by striking the phrase "in any county" as the same appears therein and substituting in lieu thereof the phrase "in Sussex and New Castle Counties".
Section 6. Amend §7906, Chapter 79, Title 3, Delaware Code, by striking the period in the first sentence and substituting in lieu thereof the phrase "or in Kent County of this State so appointed by the Kent County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals."
