CHAPTER 22.

OF VETERINARIANS.

AN ACT REQUIRING ALL VETERINARIANS TO REGISTER AND PAY AN ANNUAL LICENSE FEE OF TEN DOLLARS TO THE STATE THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:

Section 1. That all veterinarians now or hereafter intending to practice their profession in the State of Delaware shall appear in the office of the Clerk of the Peace of one of the counties of this State and cause himself to be registered in a book to be kept by the Clerks of the Peace for that purpose, and pay to such Clerk of the Peace a fee of Ten dollars for the State and fifty cents for the fee of such Clerk of the Peace. Such Clerk of the Peace shall issue to such person a license authorizing him to practice the profession of veterinarian within the State of Delaware for the period of one year from the date of such license.

Such licenses shall be prepared by the Secretary of State and issued to such Clerks of the Peace, and the license fees accounted for as in the case of licenses to practice medicine.
