CHAPTER 235

Of Juries.

AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 244 VOLUME 24 LAWS OF DELAWARE BEING AN ACT ENTITLED "AN ACT TO REGULATE THE DRAWINGS, SUMMONING, RETURNING AND SERVICE OF JURORS."

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:

Section 1. That Chapter 244 Volume 24 Laws of Delaware 24, amended be and the same is hereby amended by adding at the end of Section I the following words which shall become and be a part Public officer of said Section 1, viz, "no Public Officer, above mentioned, shall be exempt or excused from Jury duty by reason of being such Public Officer except when he is in the actual discharge of the duties of his office."

Section 2. All Acts and parts of Acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act be and the same are hereby repealed.
