AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 16 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES AND TRAFFICKING.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE :
Section 1. Amend §4753A(a)(3), Title 16 of the Delaware Code by striking the number "5" from the phrase "5 grams" as it appears in both instances in the first sentence and by substituting in lieu thereof the number "2.5".
Section 2. Amend §4573A(a)(3)a, Title 16 of the Delaware Code by striking the phrase "Is 5 grams or more, but less than 15 grams" and by substituting in lieu thereof the phrase "Is 2.5 grams or more, but less than 10 grams".
Section 3. Amend §4573A(a)(3)b, Title 16 of the Delaware Code by striking the phrase, "Is 15 grams or more" and by substituting in lieu thereof the phrase "Is 10 grams or more".
Section 4. This Act shall go into effect immediately upon enactment into law.
