AS AMENDED BY HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1
AN ACT PROPOSING AN AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE V OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE, RELATING TO ABSENTEE REGISTRATION AND ABSENTEE VOTING.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE (Two—thirds of all members elected to each House thereof concurring therein):
Section 1. Amend §4A, Article V of the Constitution of the State of
Delaware by adding the phrase ", or his or her spouse or dependents when residing with or accompanying him or her" after the words "United States or of this State" and before the words ", because of the nature of his or her business".
Section 2. Amend §413, Article V of the Constitution of the State of
Delaware by striking the words or persons accompanying or serving therewith" and substituting in lieu thereof the words "or his or her spouse or dependents when residing with or accompanying him or her".
