AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 16 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE REGISTRATION OF DEATHS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. Amend § 3123(e) of Title 16 of the Delaware Code by adding at the end of the first sentence the following:
"and a toxicology study shall be performed. If a cause of death cannot be determined after the toxicology study is performed, the remains and all reports and/or studies shall be turned over to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for review."
