AN ACT AMENDING §6606, TITLE 16 DELAWARE CODE RLATING TO THE POWERS OF THE STATE FIRE MARSHAL.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. Amend §6606 (b) of Title 16, Delaware Code, by adding the following words to the first sentence of that subsection between the word "Marshal" and the word "shall":.
". with the consent and approval of the State Fire Prevention Commission,"
Section 2. Amend §6606 (d) of Title 16, Delaware Code, by striking that subsection in its entirety and substituting therefor the following two sentences:
"The State Fire Marshal, with the consent and approval of the State Fire Prevention Commission, shall employ or acquire such office and clerical employees as may be necessary for the orderly administration of his office. The State Fire Marshal shall acquire such equipment, furniture, supplies and paraphernalia as may be necessary for the orderly administration of his office."
