AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 14 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO TRUANCY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE :
Section 1. Amend §2702 of Title 14 of the Delaware Code by redesignating existing subsections (d) through (f) as subsections (e) through (g) respectively.
Section 2. Amend §2702 of Title 14 of the Delaware Code by adding a new subsection (d) to read as follows:
(d) "Following the tenth unexcused day of attendance by a student in grades 6 through 12 inclusive, the building principal shall notify a visiting teacher of such unexcused days."
