AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 37, TITLE 24 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO SPEECH/LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS, AUDIOLOGISTS AND HEARING AID DISPENSERS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE :
Section 1. Amend §3708(a)(2) of Title 24 of the Delaware Code by adding new sentences at the end of subparagraph b., to read as follows:
“An applicant shall complete six months of training prior to taking the examination. The Board in its rules and regulations shall establish the frequency of direct supervision during the training period.”
Section 2. Amend §3708(a)(2) of Title 24 of the Delaware Code by adding a new subparagraph d., to read as follows:
“d. Subparagraphs a. and c. herein shall not apply to applicants who are licensed audiologists.”
