AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 11 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO FALSELY REPORTING AN INCIDENT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. Amend §1245, Title 11, Delaware Code by inserting after the word "misdemeanor." the following:
"Notwithstanding penalties as otherwise provided, any person convicted under this section shall be required to reimburse the State, or other responding or investigating government agency, for any expenses expended in the investigation and/or response to the incident falsely reported."
