CHAPTER 42.
OF THE REVENUES OF THE STATE.
AN ACT APPROPRIATING MONEY TO THE DELAWARE SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO CHILDREN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and the House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met, (three-fourth of all the members elected to each House concurring therein):
Section 1. That the sum of nine hundred dollars ($900) be and it is hereby appropriated to The Delaware Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, a corporation of the State of Delaware, each year until otherwise provided by law, and that the State Treasurer be and is hereby authorized and directed to pay annually during the month of March in each year, to the Treasurer of said corporation, the said sum of nine hundred dollars ($900), the first payment under this Act to be made in the month of March, A. D. 1901; the said sum so appropriated, when paid, to be used in providing effective means for the prevention of cruelty to children throughout the State of Delaware, and for the enforcement of all laws heretofore or hereafter enacted in relation thereto, pursuant to an Act entitled "An Act for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children," passed March 18, A. D. 1879, being Chapter 150, Volume 16, Laws of Delaware, and of the Acts supplementary and amendatory of the same.
