AN ACT TO AMEND SUBCHAPTER II, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 19, DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE REPLACEMENT OF PROSTHESIS FOR INJURED PERSONS WITHOUT CONSTITUTING A NEW CLAIM PERIOD.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. Amend §2322 of Subchapter II, Chapter 23, Title 19, Delaware Code by adding thereto a new subsection to be designated as subsection (f) to read as follows:
"(f) Every insurance carrier or self-insurer shall be required to replace or renew a defective or worn out prosthesis for the life of the injured person without such replacement or renewal constituting a claim period."
